"To God Alone, the Glory"

Simply stated, this is the reason we live. This powerful phrase captures the heart of West Salem Baptist Church. We believe that God alone is worthy of all worship, adoration, and praise. God created us to the praise of His glory and by the cross of Christ He has redeemed His church to live lives that magnify and honor His holy name. From the creation to the consummation into the glory of eternity, everything is the story of God's glory. He is the star of the story and our role is to glorify God and to enjoy Him forever.

This lifesong is reflected in everything that we do. From our times of corporate worship and prayer, through our times of discipleship and fellowship, in the proclamation of the gospel in word and in song, and in the midst of everyday living, we unashamedly point to the supremacy of Jesus Christ in all things for the glory of God and the joy of all nations. "Shout for joy to God, all the earth; sing the glory of His name; give to Him glorious praise! Say to God, 'How awesome are Your deeds! So great is Your power that Your enemies come cringing to You. All the earth worships You and sings praises to You; they sing praises to Your name.'" (Psalms 66:1-4)

Sermon Podcast Help

Podcasting is a way of distributing audio and video automatically to your computer through a podcast reader. We recommend iTunes from Apple. It is available as a free download from Apple and is available for Mac or Windows.

You have two options for subscribing to the West Salem sermon podcast. One is to use the "Subscribe in iTunes" link. This is the easiest and preferred option. This option requires that you already have iTunes installed on your computer. Clicking the "Subscribe in iTunes" link will launch iTunes and automatically add a subscription to the sermons to your podcasts. You can access your podcasts from the left hand menu in iTunes. For additional help, see the Help menu in iTunes.

If you do not use iTunes, you're in luck. You simply need an application that can read an RSS or podcast feed. In order to subscribe to the feed you need to use the "Feed Link" link. This will take you to the actual XML of the RSS/Podcast feed. Copy & Paste the URL from the address bar. From there, you will need to refer to your specific software's instructions for subscribing to a feed.
