SENIOR PASTOR-Nick Shaffer
Nick has been the Senior Pastor at WSBC since 2006. He graduated from the US Naval Academy in 1990 and then Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1997. He married his wife, Gretchen in 1991, they have four sons (Sam, Jake, John, Gabe) and one daughter (Cami).
PRAISE AND WORSHIP LEADER-Gretchen Shaffer
Gretchen began leading worship at WSBC in 2006 when she and her husband came to serve at the church. She also leads a women’s Bible study and loves to serve the local church in any way she can. She and Nick grew up together in a small town in Pennsylvania and have been married since 1991. Gretchen loves to cook for a houseful of people, watch and support her five children in all of their various activities, and relax on the beach.
MINISTERIAL SUPPORT MANAGER– Brittany Tuck
Brittany began serving as the Ministerial Support Manager in 2025. She previously worked as a Deputy Clerk in Franklin County Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court but is so thankful to have this opportunity to serve her church in this capacity. Brittany and her husband Aaron recently married in 2024 and are hopeful to grow their family soon. They enjoy all things outdoors, hiking, kayaking and are always up for seeing a good movie.
CHURCH FINANCIAL SECRETARY -Rebecca Grubb
Rebecca began serving as the church’s financial secretary in 2022. She graduated from Liberty University in 2016 and formerly worked as a Financial Officer for a Real Estate Brokerage. Rebecca and her husband Conner recently married in 2021, they have one son (Cooper) and one daughter (Kennedy). As a family, they enjoy camping, movie nights with friends, and beach trips to Daytona with their families.
